UPCOMING FUNDRAISING EVENTS
Saturday 31st May 2008 - Falfield Village Hall, 10-12 midday - A coffee morning with tabletop sale of old and new toys etc for children and small amount of jumble. All money raised to CLIC Sargent and Bristol Children's Hospital Oncology Department.
Saturday 17th May 2008 - Race for Life, Clifton Downs - Taking part are Mum Helen, Sophie, Gemma, Katie and Sophie's friend Katie Hall.
Today we enjoyed another Race for Life - Mum's 3rd, Sophie, Gemma and Katie Hall's 2nd and Little Katie's 1st. It was another enjoyable if emotional day with so many other women somehow affected by Cancer. Gemma told me she felt "So Proud" and I found myself becoming very emotional when she was saying how it makes her feel to be taking part!!!! I find it quite hard that such young children, not just my own, know and understand so much about Cancer. It just goes to show how many people are affected by this nasty disease.
